Key Stage 3

Over view of KS3 Curriculum – At KS3 all pupils learn both French and Spanish and the curriculum aims to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. As of September we will be using the Expo resources for French and Mira Express resources for Spanish to support teaching and learning within the department. Pupils in Year 7 will all study French with pupils having the opportunity to learn Spanish in Year 8. In Year 8 and 9 the French course will use differentiated schemes of work. Pupils will learn the following:
