Key Stage 3

(This will be completely different 2010/11, have used current for reference)

The KS3 PSHE and Citizenship curriculum has been designed to encourage students to develop a greater awareness of the world around them. Some units are based on Personal Issues such as staying Healthy and Drugs. Yet other issues are examined in a Global context.

Each Unit is based around a central theme, aspects of which are investigated and discussed in class. These aspects then come together at the end of the unit to give a complete picture of the Issue and its impact on the daily lives of the students.

Each module is regularly reviewed, as it is important for the Citizenship Course to remain topical, and there is room for each unit to be adapted to best fit the needs of the students.
