Welcome to DofE!
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a fantastic opportunity that USH offer to all year 9‘s every year in January. Students must attend weekly training and guidance sessions as well as completing their Volunteering, Skill and Physical Recreation sections in their own time. During training sessions we teach the students about route planning, camp craft and navigation to aid them when they go out on their expeditions. To complete each section students must develop or enhance such skills dedication, motivation and be able to work both independently and in a team.
The next in take will be for the current year 8’s in January 2011
